Возникновение расстройств аутистического спектра (РАС) связывают с нарушением развития мозга. Для пациентов с РАС характерны трудности в области социального взаимодействия и коммуникации.

В обзоре рассмотрены современные аспекты эпидемиологии аутистических расстройств, способы их диагностики и коррекции, а также факторы риска развития заболевания. Многочисленные исследования подтверждают, что своевременное выявление аутистических расстройств и включение ребенка в программы ранней помощи могут служить основой эффективной реабилитации и улучшают прогноз социализации. Высокая распространенность РАС требует активизации деятельности в области разработок скрининговых методик, создания научно обоснованной и нормативно утвержденной системы маршрутизации данной категории пациентов, а также повсеместного внедрения программ помощи детям с этой патологией и их родителям.
